I started working on Interlock a few months after the release of my previous album ” Unexpected Ride “. I wanted to create something that could sum up all my influences as a musician and ” interlocking ” them in one album. I also wanted to fool the listener creating easy listening/melodic tunes but that are actually harmonically complex.
I chose the best team I could possibly go for…Daniele Antenucci (Drums), Chicco Allotta (Piano/Keys) and Edoardo Bombace (Upright and Electric Bass) a groovy, talented and tight rhythm session who is also featured in different lead parts amongst the tunes.
This album also sees the likes of also incredible guests who are featured on a few tracks such as Francesca Confortini (Vocals) Quentin Collins (Trumpet) Vasilis Xenopoulos (Tenor/Soprano Saxophone) and last but not least Laura Ayoub (Violin) and Sarah Ayoub (Cello).
