Dave Kelbie here. Heartfelt thanks to everyone for the continued support. Many of you I know personally, and some for more than twenty years, but whether I do or not I could never express the deep gratitude I feel for your continued support through the current craziness. Not just with sales, the donations have been totally unexpected and have helped immeasurably during this time of zero merchandise sales at concerts and for that I’m really indebted to you. Your generosity has kept the label afloat, has given us traction under the slippiest of circumstances, which in turn has benefited the musicians with whom we work, and kept us in a healthy position for when the situation returns to some sort of equilibrium.
Lockdown has forced us to elevate the label into more of an outlet with a goal to supply quality music we collectively love. We’re playing catch up a bit as perhaps we should have began years ago but since we started in 1987 our objective has always been to collaborate and coordinate projects mostly from a performance perspective. Behaving like a grownup label rather than rely on merchandise sales has actually been a bit of an afterthought, largely due to touring commitments.
Mostly this has involved making new licence arrangements and import deals with international labels and producers, but we’re also building relationships with self-releasing musicians. We’re also actively supporting young musicians wanting help and advice in regards to releasing material.
So as a thank you for all the amazing support the offers on this page will be ongoing. They are advertised only to existing customers by email. If you find this page, many thanks for being a very cool customer, or a very welcome new one.
